The Bachelor Australia
For a long time, I cringed any time I had to tell people I was on The Bachelor Australia. In fact, I typically shied away from the subject. I would tell people that I worked in TV and often they would ask, "Have you done any shows that I might recognize you from?" It was at that moment that fear, and anxiety ensued my entire body.
You see, my journey on The Bachelor Australia wasn't exactly rose petals and fairytales. In fact, it was quite the opposite. The mansion became like a million-dollar prison where I was kept on 24/7 lockdown without access to the outside world and my mental health was put in danger. Yep, that’s right – those beautiful girls you see on your TV screen when you watch The Bachelor are bat sh!t crazy for a reason.
I am currently writing a “tell all” book about mental health and my life in Australia. The book follows the trials and tribulations of my trip through reality TV, how it impacted my mental health and addiction, and how I barely made it out alive.
Now a sober queen (almost 4 years and counting) and a mental health advocate, I aim to share my story to bring awareness and erase stigma around mental health and addiction.
Everything happens for a reason, and I know I was brought into this world as a storyteller to share my wisdom, insight, and life experience with others.
